The Ti of 321 stainless steel exists as a stabilizing element, but it is also a heat-strong steel, which is much better than 316L. 321 stainless steel has good abrasion resistance in organic acids and inorganic acids of different concentrations and temperatures, especially in oxidizing media, which is used to manufacture wear-resistant acid containers and wear-resistant equipment linings and pipelines.
321 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel alloy containing nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr) and titanium (Ti). It exhibits similar properties to 304 stainless steel, but the presence of titanium enhances its corrosion resistance along grain boundaries and increases its strength at high temperatures. The addition of titanium effectively suppresses the formation of chromium carbide in the alloy.
321 stainless steel has excellent high temperature Stress Rupture performance and high temperature Creep Resistance stress mechanical properties are better than 304 stainless steel. It is suitable for welding components used at high temperature.
